With the obvious need to protect the literature from the elements, several designs were tried. With a lot of research and development, we settled on a vacuum formed molded cover made from ABS black haircell plastic. This plastic hides scuffs and scratches well. It gives the cart a very high quality look for a long time. The three doors for the individual shelves are made from clear polycarbonate plastic that has resistance to UV light and will resist discoloring for a long time.
It adds to the overall appearance of the cart, extends the life of the literature while still giving easy access to all three literature shelves.
The popularity of the cover has spread all across the United States so it has seen a variety of weather conditions; from the dampness of Niagara Falls to the humidity of Houston, from the rain in Seattle to the wind in Hawaii.
